MORATA is a not-for-profit group incorporated to promote outdoor recreation in Mackenzie and the surrounding area.

Our Mission

Our goal is to work with other groups, the government and the community at large to develop the untapped recreational potential of Mackenzie, BC. Established in 2016.

MORATA is a group that works with our community partners to encourage local recreation by building multi-use trails, hosting outdoor events, and promoting biking, hiking, backcountry skiing, sport climbing and other non-motorized outdoor activities within the Mackenzie region!

One of our key principles is inclusive development which considers all stakeholders in the pursuit of wins, wins, wins.
